Who We Hear From — and What to Share
Every message we receive matters. Here is a little more about each audience we serve and what it is helpful to include when you write.
Bereaved Families
We serve bereaved mothers and birthing people, partners, grandparents, siblings, and close friends across Asheville and Western North Carolina. Referrals can come from providers, friends, family members, or the families themselves. We will reach out with care, without pressure, and with no expectation about what they are ready for.
Healthcare Providers & Doulas
Embrace Foundation offers evidence-based bereavement training to clinical teams, community organizations, doulas, social workers, and individual providers across Western North Carolina. When you write, let us know your setting, your team size, and your goals — we will help you find the right fit.
Community Supporters
We are always looking for compassionate people to serve as peer companions, event hosts, and community connectors. No clinical background is required — only a willingness to show up and be present with families in grief. Tell us a little about yourself and how you would like to help.
Send Us a Message
All messages are read and responded to with care. There is no pressure, no expectation, and no wrong reason to reach out.
