Every Gift Honors a Life.

Your involvement — in any form — helps bereaved families in Western North Carolina find the support they desperately need.

Grief is something every family experiences. Access to grief support is not. In Western North Carolina, many families face infant loss without access to the mental health care, community support, and compassionate guidance they desperately need.

Your gift to Embrace Foundation changes that. It funds a seat in a support circle for a bereaved parent who has nowhere else to turn. It covers a therapy referral for a family who cannot afford it. It makes a remembrance gathering possible for parents who need to say their baby’s name out loud in a room full of people who understand.

No family should have to navigate this alone. Your support makes sure more of them don’t.

Monthly Giving

Become a Sustaining Supporter. Monthly gifts allow us to plan ahead, keep our programs consistent, and serve families throughout the year — including on the hard anniversaries and holidays that come long after the initial loss.

Memorial Gift

Honor the memory of a baby by making a gift in their name. We will acknowledge your tribute and, with permission, share it with the family. Because a baby’s name deserves to be spoken — and remembered.

Give in Memory

Sponsor a Remembrance Event

Help us host a candlelight gathering, Wave of Light ceremony, or memory-making workshop. Event sponsorships ensure our programming remains free and accessible to all families — including those least able to pay.

Other Ways to Support

Not every contribution is financial. There are many meaningful ways to stand alongside bereaved families in our community.

Volunteer

We are always looking for compassionate people to serve as peer companions, event hosts, and community connectors. No clinical background is required — only a willingness to show up and be present with families in grief.

Refer a Family

If you know a family who is struggling after a loss — recently or years ago — you can refer them to us. Referrals can come from providers, friends, family members, or the families themselves. We will reach out with care, without pressure, and with no expectation about what they are ready for.

Share Our Work

Tell your community about Embrace Foundation. Share us with your OB, your midwife, your doula, your hospital social worker. Awareness is how we reach the families who don’t yet know that support exists.

Why Your Involvement Matters

Moving families from grief to grace through community connections.

Our aim is to provide trauma-informed emotional support, therapeutic resources, and remembrance opportunities for families navigating perinatal loss, birth trauma, and the unexpected death of an infant — offering a safe space to grieve, heal, and honor their loved one.

Every act of giving, volunteering, or referring a family directly funds the programs that make this possible. When you get involved, you help ensure that no bereaved parent in Western North Carolina has to face their grief without a community beside them.

Your involvement — in whatever form it takes — directly:

  • Funds a seat in a support circle for a parent who has nowhere else to turn
  • Covers a therapy referral for a family who cannot afford one
  • Makes a remembrance gathering possible for parents who need to say their baby’s name aloud
  • Trains a provider who will change how families experience care at their most vulnerable moment

No family should have to navigate this alone. Your support makes sure more of them don’t.
